The African Climate Conversation was launched by British International Investment, the UK’s development finance institution and impact investor. It was founded as a space to host a wide range of views from Africa’s leading thinkers and visionaries on the climate emergency; a place where ideas, insights and solutions could be expressed and shared.
The enormity of meeting the challenge of the climate emergency means that potential solutions will never be straightforward. And it is in the nuance and complexity of addressing this challenge where our contributors are world-leading experts.
Great ideas need the largest possible audience. That’s why many of the articles, podcasts and videos are provided on a copyright free basis, so any media outlet or other publication can use them in their entirety. Please see here for conditions of use.
We hope that in a small way, the contributions to this platform shape conversations at COP27 in Egypt and beyond.
