Everyone at BII extends their heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Herbert, Doreen and Chizi Wigwe, Abimbola Ogunbanjo and the two pilots who died in the tragic helicopter crash in California at the weekend. We stand in mourning alongside our colleagues and partners at Access Bank in Nigeria where Dr Wigwe was the CEO of its parent company, Access Holdings Plc.
BII has worked with Access Bank to support the aspirations of countless people by boosting trade and access to finance across Nigeria and Africa. Herbert was a champion for Africa. And as a humanitarian and entrepreneur, he was passionate in his commitment to the continent’s future.
