Representatives from CDC recently joined more than a hundred development finance professionals from across the world at a conference on improving corporate governance in developing countries.
The theme of this year’s Meeting of Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) on Corporate Governance was “Improving Business Cultures for Sustainable Growth”. The event, which was hosted by Proparco – the private sector arm of the Agence Française de Development – brought together people from twenty one different countries to discuss topics ranging from corporate governance in West Africa to gender balance on directorial boards at investee businesses.
