Nikunj Jinsi

Nikunj Jinsi joined British International Investment as an external Investment Committee member on January 2021.

Nikunj has over 20 years of VC investment experience in developing markets and has led over 80 VC transactions. He has held board positions in several leading technology companies in emerging markets and spent 16 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he was the Global Head for Venture Capital. In that role he committed over $1 billion in venture capital fund and direct investments  and managed a team of over 30 investment professionals based in eight locations globally. Prior to joining IFC, Nikunj spent nine years working in Asia, as a Managing Director for AsiaTech Ventures.

He currently is a Senior Advisor to several European institutions, developing their emerging markets venture strategy.
