Satish Chavva

Satish heads up Direct Private Equity and is based in Mumbai.

Satish focuses on direct private equity investment activities in South Asia, supporting deal sourcing and execution across the South Asia region, working closely with portfolio management and value creation to drive initiatives at portfolio companies, providing direct and indirect leadership, mentorship and coaching to the South Asia investment team, and contributing to the strategic direction of the Private Equity activities of ITS.

Satish joined us from Oman India Joint Investment Fund (OIJIF) where he was Director of Investments. Prior to that he worked at TRG/Citigroup as Investment Director. His early career was in IT, working for IBM as Project Manager and Trilogy as Technical Lead.

Satish holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Texas, and an MBA from INSEAD.
