Nikunj Jinsi

Nikunj Jinsi has over 20 years of venture capital investment experience in developing markets. He is currently a Senior Advisor to several European institutions, developing their emerging markets venture strategy, including British International Investment. He has also founded a climate-centric technology investment platform, targeting technology investments emerging markets.

Prior to this Mr. Jinsi spent 16 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Washington DC, where he was Global Head for Venture Capital, focused on direct, co-, and VC fund investments. He built IFC’s venture capital platform and led a team of over 30 investment professionals based in 8 locations globally. Together they built a direct portfolio in leading emerging market digital technology companies, for an accumulated $1BN+, and demonstrated consistent strong impact and financial profitability over 16 years, with commercially driven cash returns. Focus sectors included climate/cleantech, mobility, edutech, healthtech and agritech.
